My partner and I had an incredible time at Hotel Carolina. We stayed for three nights and were blown away by the beautiful architecture, peaceful atmosphere, and stunning views of the lagoon. The rooms were modern and beach-inspired, with our own private balcony and hammock. We loved that we had complimentary access to kayaks and paddle boards, allowing us to explore the lagoon at our leisure. The breakfast, while continental, was exactly as described and we enjoyed the option to purchase delicious hot breakfast items. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we were able to easily book a sailboat tour upon checking in. This was definitely one of our favorite places to stay!

The service was mind-blowing! Kudos to the amazing staff, they were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were stunning, with jaw-droppingly comfortable beds and pillows. We loved having access to kayaks and paddleboards to explore the beautiful waterfront location. The hotel itself had a cute and charming atmosphere, with a small bar outside and a great menu for food. The well-maintained grounds and small pool added to the overall beauty of the space. The bridge with the cabana at the top was incredibly romantic. We had a fantastic time and can't wait to come back!

The location of the venue is particularly good, adjacent to the restaurant, waterfront, and sightseeing. The hotel provides good hot breakfast with granola and toast, as example.

We absolutely loved the beautiful location of this hotel, nestled right on the tranquil lagoon. The pontoon overlooking the lake provided the perfect spot to witness breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and eco-friendly. We enjoyed exploring the lagoon on the complimentary kayaks and SUPs provided by the hotel. The a la carte food at the restaurant was delicious, and the beverages were top-notch. The staff, although in need of more training, were friendly and made us feel welcome. Despite some minor inconveniences like limited hot water and occasional noise from kids and pets, our overall experience at Carolina was amazing. We highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing and memorable stay.

i was happy with hotel's stunning and great location on waterfront. location: the property was right by the stylish restaurant, the lagoon, and the laguna. also, this hotel was situated 2 miles from tourist destination like a stalwart 1729 stone fort.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The rooms were clean and well-equipped with a comfortable bed and double curtains. We could order extra breakfast dishes besides the included toast, jam, yogurt, and fruit. The hotel facilities were great with free use of kayaks and paddleboards. The location was perfect, close enough to walk to the main town and right next to the beautiful Bacalar lagoon.

The location of the hotel was really convenient as it was close to the city and made it easy to walk around. The view from our room was enchanting and we enjoyed relaxing in the clean pool. The breakfast served at the hotel was also quite good, with a variety of options. We appreciated the friendly service of the staff and the modern room amenities were a plus.

Despite the great service and beautiful location, one downside was the lack of space in some of the outdoor areas.

Had a fantastic Easter holiday at this hotel with plenty of great experiences. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, furnished with eco-friendly touches like organic cosmetics and double curtains. Played with kayaks and paddleboards for hours on end and explored the nearby Canal de los Piratas and Isla de los Pajaros. Best of all, the open-air restaurant and bar were so relaxing, with nice cocktail offerings and lovely views of the lagoon.

Although the staff was helpful and friendly, there were a few issues. For one thing, the music from the beach club next door could get a bit too loud at times, but mostly the noise during from maintenance was the biggest issue.

The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the middle of the lagoon and surrounded by breathtaking scenery. The complementary kayaks and SUPs added an extra layer of fun to our stay, and the cocktails at the bar were amazing! The room was clean and cozy, and the view was incredible.

The breakfast left a lot to be desired. The options were limited and the quality was poor, and the staff wasn't very helpful or friendly.
